This is fantastic! You want to become a SKETCH digital Folio user! Tell us about you. How you are affiliated with SKETCH. Do you identify as being within our mandate? You will receive an invitation email within 48hrs of requesting access.

Search

The search function lets you look through other artists using FOLIO, and add them as peers. Through including different criteria, you’re able to specify your search. For example if you’re looking for someone to work with, click the “Open to Collaboration” box. If you’re looking for an artist or mentor with specific skills or interests, include them in the “Keywords” box.

Mentors

The following artist professionals are here to help support your artistic and professional creative practise with their expertise. Please review their skills and feel free to message them with questions. They will aim to get back to you within a reasonable time.

Please see individual listings for information about how to access opportunities. Note that some of these listings are SKETCH sanctioned, while others fall outside of our scope of responsibility.

Thank you for wanting to engage our creative, skilled and eager community! SKETCH has strict values that would need to be reflected in this opportunity. We will aim to respond to you ASAP with whether or not this meets our criteria.

Creating an opportunity

Help us understand who and what you are looking for. SKETCH reserves all rights to vet opportunities based on the values we uphold. We will not circulate requests for volunteers and unpaid positions. We are especially happy to share opportunities that encourage anti-racists, anti-oppressive, anti-ableist, harm reduction projects, that pay artists well and seek to lessen the everyday harms that many in our communities face.

Invite

Only SKETCH staff can invite artists to become members of Folio. If you want to create a profile and have not been invited, please go to the main page and choose Sign Up.

Preferences

Your preferences are where you can change your password, as well as decide whether you’d like to receive email notifications from FOLIO.

You can also choose to be either available or unavailable. Unavailable users cannot be added as peers or mentors, meaning you’ll be unable to collaborate with other artists using FOLIO.

You can change any of these settings at any time, by clicking ‘preferences’ in the top right corner.
